Here, we will learn about the Scheme Property of the Uri class. This is the instance property of Uri class which used to get scheme name from Uri it means http or https used in passed Uri.

This property returns string value to represent scheme name which is in given Uri. This property may generate System.InvalidOperationException exception.

Program:

The source code to demonstrate the use of Scheme property of Uri class is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

using System;

class UriExample
{
    //Entry point of Program
    static public void Main()
    {
        Uri domainUri1;
        Uri domainUri2;

        domainUri1 = new Uri("http://www.includehelp.com:8082?Query1=101&Query2=102");
        domainUri2 = new Uri("https://www.includehelp.com:8082?Query1=101&Query2=102");

        Console.WriteLine("Scheme Name of domainUri1: " + domainUri1.Scheme);
        Console.WriteLine("Scheme Name of domainUri2: " + domainUri2.Scheme);
    }
}

Output:

Scheme Name of domainUri1: http
Scheme Name of domainUri2: https
Press any key to continue . . .

In the above program, we created an object of Uri class and gets scheme name that is http or https from passed Uri using Scheme property.
