How to use the expression in the case statement in Golang?

Problem Solution:

In this program, we will use the expression in the case statement and then execute the appropriate case based on the case of switch expression and print an appropriate message on the console screen.

Output:

Explanation:

In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package that includes the files of package fmt then we can use a function related to the fmt package.

In the main() function, we created a variable val, which is initialized with 3.

Here, we case 4-1: will be executed because variable val is initialized with 3. That's why the message "INDIA" will be printed on the console screen.
