How to print the hexadecimal value of a specified number in Golang?
Problem Solution:
In this program, we will print the hexadecimal value of the specified variable using "%x" and "%X" format specifiers in fmt.Printf() function on the console screen.
Program/Source Code:
The source code to print the hexadecimal value of a specified number using format specifier in Printf() function is given below. The given program is compiled and executed on the ubuntu 18.04 operating system successfully.
Golang code to print the hexadecimal value of a specified number using format specifier in printf() function
// Golang program to print the hexadecimal value of a specified number
// using format specifier in Printf() function
package main
import "fmt"
func main() {
var num int = 0
fmt.Printf("Enter number: ")
fmt.Scanf("%d", &num)
fmt.Printf("Decimal value: %d\n", num)
fmt.Printf("Hex value : %x\n", num)
fmt.Printf("Hex value : %X\n", num)
}
Output:
Enter number: 13
Decimal value: 13
Hex value : d
Hex value : D
Explanation:
In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package then we can use a function related to the fmt
In the main() function, we created a variable num with initial value 0. Then we read the value of the variable from the user. After that, we printed the decimal and hexadecimal value of the specified number on the console screen using "%d", "%x", "%X" format specifiers.
