Getting the size of the array in Golang
Problem Solution:
In this program, we will create an array and get the size of the array. After that, we will print array elements on the console screen.
Program/Source Code:
The source code to get the size of the array is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.
Golang code to get the size of the array
// Golang program to get the size of the array
package main
import "fmt"
func main() {
var size int = 0
arr := [...]int{1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8}
size = len(arr)
fmt.Println("Size of array: ", size)
fmt.Println("Array elements:")
for i := 0; i < size; i++ {
fmt.Printf("%d ", arr[i])
}
}
Output:
Size of array: 8
Array elements:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
Explanation:
In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package that includes the files of package fmt then we can use a function related to the fmt package.
In the main() function, we created and initialized an integer array arr using "..." without specifying the size of the array. Then we get the size of the array using the len() function. After that, we printed the array elements using the for loop on the console screen.
