Golang program to demonstrate the pointer to pointer
Here, we are going to demonstrate the pointer to pointer in Golang (Go Language).

How to implement pointer to pointer in Golang?
Problem Solution:
In this program, we will demonstrate the pointer to pointer. A pointer that holds the address of another pointer is known as a pointer to pointer or chain pointer.
Program/Source Code:
The source code to demonstrate the pointer to pointer is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.
Golang code to demonstrate the example of pointer to pointer
// Golang program to demonstrate the pointer to pointer
package main
import "fmt"
func main() {
var num int = 10
var ptr *int
var pptr **int
ptr = &num
pptr = &ptr
fmt.Printf("Num: %d\n", num)
fmt.Printf("*Ptr: %d\n", *ptr)
fmt.Printf("**PPtr: %d\n", **pptr)
**pptr = 20
fmt.Printf("Num: %d\n", num)
fmt.Printf("*Ptr: %d\n", *ptr)
fmt.Printf("**PPtr: %d\n", **pptr)
}
Output:
Num: 10
*Ptr: 10
**PPtr: 10
Num: 20
*Ptr: 20
**PPtr: 20
Explanation:
In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package that includes the files of package fmt then we can use a function related to the fmt package.
In the main() function, we created an integer variable num , an integer pointer ptr and chain pointer pptr. Then we initialized the pointer ptr using the address of variables num and pptr with the address of pointer ptr. After that, we access the value of the variable using dereferencing operator "*". Then modify and printed the value of the variable on the console screen.
