Pointer to an array in Golang

Problem Solution:

In this program, we will create an array of integers and pointer to an array and access the elements of an array using the pointer.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to demonstrate a pointer to an array is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

Golang code to demonstrate the example of pointer to an array

// Golang program to demonstrate
// the pointer to an array

package main

import "fmt"

func main() {
	arr := [...]int{1, 2, 3, 4, 5}
	var ptr *[5]int

	ptr = &arr

	fmt.Println("Array elements: ")
	for i := 0; i <= 4; i++ {
		fmt.Printf("%d ", (*ptr)[i])
	}
}

Output:

Array elements:
1 2 3 4 5

Explanation:

In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package that includes the files of package fmt then we can use a function related to the fmt package.

In the main() function, we created an array arr with 5 integer elements and also created a pointer to an array and access array elements and print on the console screen.
