Creating an array with the existing array in Golang
Problem Solution:
In this program, we will create an array with the existing array. After that, we printed elements of both arrays on the console screen.
Program/Source Code:
The source code to create an array with an existing array is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.
Golang code to create an array with the existing array
// Golang program to create an array with an existing array
package main
import "fmt"
func main() {
arr1 := [...]int{1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8}
arr2 := arr1
fmt.Println("Before Array1 elements: ", arr1)
fmt.Println("Before Array2 elements: ", arr2)
arr2[0] = 9
fmt.Println("After Array1 elements: ", arr1)
fmt.Println("After Array2 elements: ", arr2)
}
Output:
Before Array1 elements: [1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8]
Before Array2 elements: [1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8]
After Array1 elements: [1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8]
After Array2 elements: [9 2 3 4 5 6 7 8]
Explanation:
In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package that includes the files of package fmt then we can use a function related to the fmt package.
In the main() function, we created and initialized an integer array arr1 using "..." without specifying the size of the array. Then we created a new array arr2 with the existing array arr1 and assigned element 9 at the 0th index. After that, we printed the elements of both arrays on the console screen.
