What is Multileader Command?
Multileader command is used in AutoCAD 2022 for the purpose of creating Multileader objects. A typical multileader consists of an arrowhead, a horizontal landing, a line or curve, and a multileader text object or a block. Multileader objects are used to provide contextual information about an object in the drawing. It can provide information about dimensions, bills of materials, tolerance, allowance, etc.
How to Enable Multileader Command?
The two standard methods of enabling the multileader command are explained below:

First Method:
In this method, the command is enabled by clicking on the icon shown below which is present in the ribbon panel. The user can find the icon for the respective command in the ribbon panel with much ease.

Second Method:
It is an alternative method. In this method, the command is enabled by typing MLD in command line.
Concept of Multileader Command with an Example
Now, let us understand the concept of this command easily with the aid of examples for more clarity about it.

In the drawing shown below, the user wishes to name the object in the drawing space. He likes to name the circle and rectangle for clear interpretation.

Enable the Multileader command by anyone of the methods shown above.

Click on the outer profile of the circle.

Type the name of the object i.e., circle on the drawing space.

Again, click on the outer profile of the rectangle.

Type the name of the object i.e., rectangle on the drawing space.

Thus, the Multileader command is used to provide contextual information about the object.
There are three major types in the Multileader Commands,
- Leader Landing First:
It is used to specify the leader landing first and then the arrowhead location and text.
- Content First:
It is used to specify the contents of the multileader first followed by the arrowhead location.
- Options:
The options command is used to modify various characteristics of the multileader such as line type, text font, line thickness, etc.
The various categories under the options are:
- Leader type
- Leader landing
- Content type
- Maxpoints
- First angle
- Second angle
- Exit options
