IIFL: India Infoline Finance Limited

IIFL is an abbreviation of India Infoline Finance Limited. It is the largest diversified financial services corporation in India. Its head office is situated in Mumbai. In October 1995, it is established by Nirmal Jain. IIFL comes in the ranking, among the top seven financial conglomerates in India. Previously, it was called India Infoline Investment Services Limited, which in November 2011 renamed India Infoline Finance Limited.

IIFL Brief History

• In October 1995, it was initially integrated as Probity Research and Services Pvt. Ltd. to generate impartial, independent, excellent research on the Indian economy, industries and corporate, etc.
• In 1998, it introduced its research products 'Probity 200 Company Reports, Economy Probe and Sector Reports, etc.
• In 1999, www.indiainfoline.com was introduced by the corporation to put together all research available and accessible on the internet.
  In 2000, the corporation introduced 5paisa.com with full-service brokerage at 0.05%.
• In 2001, it turned out to be India's first Corporate Agent for Insurance after being associated with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance.
• In 2003, the corporation launched its 'Trader Terminal', software to develop and reform online trading.
• In 2005, the corporation was listed on BSE and NSE.
  The IIFL's first international investor conference 'Enterprising India' was held in 2009-10.
• In 2009, the corporation was registered with NBH for the housing finance business.
• In 2010, it started the gold loan business.
• In 2011, the corporation integrated the IIFL Asset Management Corporation.
• In 2012, it launched a Real Estate Fund, debt, and equity-linked investment instrument.
• In February 2015, IIFL introduced a stock trading mobile application which was the highest-rated (4.4) and most downloaded stock trading app.
