Here, we will join two strings using the append() function and print the result on the console screen.

The source code to join a string using the append() function is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

// using the append() function

var str1 = "Hello "
var str2 = "India"

str1.append(str2)

print("Result: ",str1)

Output:

Result:  Hello India

...Program finished with exit code 0
Press ENTER to exit console.

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

Here, we created two strings str1, str2 initialized with "Hello ", "India". Then we appended str2 into str1 and printed the result on the console screen.
