Swift program to demonstrate the arithmetic operators

Here, we are going to demonstrate the arithmetic operators in Swift programming language.
Submitted by Nidhi, on May 30, 2021

Problem Solution:

Here, we will perform the arithmetic operations using arithmetic operators and print the result on the console screen.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to demonstrate the arithmetic operators is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

// Swift program to demonstrate the // arithmetic operators import Swift; var num1=23; var num2=10; var num3=0; // '+' operator num3=num1+num2; print("Addition is: ",num3); // '-' operator num3=num1-num2; print("Subtraction is: ",num3); // '*' operator num3=num1*num2; print("Multiplication is: ",num3); // '/' operator num3=num1/num2; print("Division is: ",num3); // '%' operator num3=num1%num2; print("Remainder is: ",num3);

Output:

Addition is:  33
Subtraction is:  13
Multiplication is:  230
Division is:  2
Remainder is:  3

...Program finished with exit code 0
Press ENTER to exit console.

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

Here, we created three integer variables num1, num2, num3, that are initialized 23, 10, 0 respectively. Then we performed all arithmetic operations using built-in arithmetic operators and printed the result on the console screen.
