Submitted by Nidhi, on February 08, 2022
Problem Solution:
In this program, we will get the current date only using the strftime() method of Time class and print the result.
Program/Source Code:
The source code to get the current date only using the strftime() method is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.
# Ruby program to get the current date only
# using strftime() method
time = Time.new();
OnlyDate = time.strftime("%x");
print "Date is: ",OnlyDate;
Output:
Date is: 02/08/22
Explanation:
In the above program, we created the object of the Time class. Then we got the current date only (no time) using the strftime() method with "%x" as an argument and printed the result.
