Submitted by Nidhi, on January 16, 2022
Problem Solution:
In this program, we will use the map() method. The map() method is used to iterate over each element of the array, allowing you to perform actions on them.
Program/Source Code:
The source code to demonstrate the Array.map() method is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.
# Ruby program to demonstrate
# the Array.map() method
arr = [10,20,30,40,50];
res = arr.map { |item| item * 5 }
puts "Array elements: \n",res,"\n";
Output:
Array elements:
50
100
150
200
250
Explanation:
In the above program, we created an array arr with some elements. Then we used the map() method. The map() method is used to iterate over each element of the array, allowing you to perform actions on them. After that, we printed the result.
