IPCC: Integrated Professional Competence Course
IPCC is an abbreviation of the Integrated Professional Competence Course. It is the second level course or second phase of the Chartered Accountancy course. The ICAI which is the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India carries out this course. A candidate is eligible for the last course of chartered accountancy after the successful completion of this Integrated Professional Competence Course.
Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) Criteria
- A student should have qualified the CA CPT which is a Chartered Accountancy Common Proficiency Test before appearing for the Integrated Professional Competence Course exam.
- After the successful completion of the course, an examination is carrying out. This examination is known as IPCE which is the Integrated Professional Competence Examination.
- This IPCE examination includes theoretical exams and practical training.
- A candidate has seven papers in this course which are classified into 2 groups.
- The first group contains 4 subjects.
- The second group contains 3 subjects.
- All these subjects of the first and second groups are associated with the profession of Accountancy.

IPCC: Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change
IPCC is also an abbreviation of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. It is a scientific intergovernmental body operates under the management of the United Nations for the evaluation of climate change.
In 1988, it was first established by two United Nations organizations, the World Metrological Organization (WMO) and the United Nations General Assembly (UNEP). The work of this intergovernmental panel does not include conduction of any program or research nor does it includes monitoring data associated with climate. The main work of this intergovernmental panel, comprised of evaluating and assessing the up to date scientific, technical and socio-economic information associated with climate change.
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Main Objective
The main objective of IPCC is to make reports that carry the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. It creates stability in the greenhouse gas which is completely intense in the atmosphere.
The IPCC has approved and published "Principles Governing IPCC Work", which declares and express that the IPCC will evaluate and review,
- The risk of human-induced climate change,
- Its potential impacts, and
- Possible options for prevention.
