Swift program to shuffle array elements

Here, we are going to learn how to shuffle array elements in Swift programming language?

Problem Solution:

Here, we will create an array of integers with 5 elements. Then we will change the order of array elements using the shuffle() function. The order of array elements will be changed after each call of shuffle() function.

The source code to shuffle array elements is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

import Swift

var arr:[Int] = [12,10,25,20,50]

print("Original array: ",arr)

arr.shuffle()

print("1.array after shuffle: ",arr)

arr.shuffle()

print("2.array after shuffle: ",arr)

Output:

Original array:  [12, 10, 25, 20, 50]
1.array after shuffle:  [20, 25, 12, 10, 50]
2.array after shuffle:  [50, 10, 20, 25, 12]

...Program finished with exit code 0

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

Here, we created an integer array arr with 5 elements. Then we used the shuffle() function to change the order of array elements using the shuffle() function two times and printed the updated array on the console screen.
