Swift program to find the Euler's number raised to a given exponent
Here, we are going to learn how to find the Euler's number raised to a given exponent in Swift programming language?
Submitted by Nidhi, on June 23, 2021
Problem Solution:
Here, we will use the exp() function to find the Euler's number raised to a given exponent and print the result on the console screen.
Program/Source Code:
The source code to find the Euler's number raised to a given exponent is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.
// Swift program to find the Euler's number raised
// to a given exponent
import Swift
import Foundation
var num:Double = 5.0
var res:Double = 0.0
res = exp(num)
print("Result: ",res)
Output:
Result: 148.4131591025766
...Program finished with exit code 0
Press ENTER to exit console.
Explanation:
In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,
import Swift;
To use mathematics and some standard functions, we need to import the foundation package using the below statement,
import Foundation;
Here, we created two double type variables num, res that are initialized with 5.0,0.0 respectively. Then we found the Euler's number raised to a given exponent using the exp() function and printed the result on the console screen.
