Swift program to demonstrate the nested if statement

Here, we are going to demonstrate the nested if statement in Swift programming language.

Problem Solution:

Here, we will find the largest number among three numbers using the nested if statement and print the appropriate message on the console screen.

The source code to demonstrate the nested if statement is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

var num2:Int=30;
var num3:Int=20;

if(num1>num2)
{
    if(num1>num3)
    {
        print("Num1 is largest number");
    }

    else
    {
        print("Num3 is largest number");
    }

}
else if(num2>num3)
{
    print("Num2 is largest number");
}
else
{
    print("Num3 is largest number");
}

Output:

Num2 is largest number

...Program finished with exit code 0

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

Here, we created three integer variables num1, num2, num3, that are initialized with 10, 30, 20 respectively. Then we found the largest the among 3 numbers using the nested if statement and printed the appropriate message on the console screen.
