Scala program to get the size of the set using the size property

Find the Size of Scala Set

Here, we will create three sets with the different numbers of elements using the Set collection class. Then we will print the size of created sets using the size property of the Set collection class.

The source code to get the size of the set using the size property is given below. The given program is compiled and executed on the ubuntu 18.04 operating system successfully.

Explanation

Here, we used an object-oriented approach to create the program. And, we imported Collection classes using below statement,

import scala.collection.immutable._

Here, we also created a singleton object Sample and defined the main() function. The main() function is the entry point for the program.

In the main() function, we created three sets emptySet, luckyNums, and cities. Then we got the size of the created set using the size property and printed the result on the console screen.
