Problem Solution:

In this program, we will create a string and trim the string from the left side using the lstrip() method, and print the updated string.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to trim a string from the left side is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

# Ruby program to trim a string
# from the left side

str = " Hello ";

tStr = str.lstrip();

print "Left Trimmed string: [",tStr,"]";

Output:

Left Trimmed string: [Hello ]

Explanation:

In the above program, we created a string str initialized with "Hello". Then we used the lstrip() method to trim the string from the left side and return the updated string. After that, we print an updated string.
