In this program, we will get the current year in two digits representation using strftime() method of Time class and print the result.

The source code to get the current year in two digits representation using strftime() method is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

# Ruby program to get the current year 
# without a century (00 to 99) 
# using strftime() method

time = Time.new();
currentYear = time.strftime("%y");

print "Current year is: ",currentYear;

Output:

Current year is: 22

Explanation:

In the above program, we created the object of the Time class. Then we get the current year in two digits representation using strftime() method with "%y" as an argument and printed the result.
