In this program, we will get the current working directory using Dir::getwd() method. Then we will print the result.

The source code to get the current working directory using Dir::getwd() method is given below. The given program is compiled and executed on Windows 10 Operating System successfully.
# Ruby program to get the current working directory
# using Dir::getwd() method
currentDirectory = Dir::getwd();
puts "Current working directory: ",currentDirectory;
Output:
D:/ruby_programs
Explanation:
In the above program, we got the current working directory using Dir::getwd() method. We can also get a similar result using Dir::pwd() method. Then we printed the result.
