In this program, we will get the current second of minute using the strftime() method of Time class and print the result.

The source code to get the current second of minute using the strftime() method is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

# Ruby program to get the current second of minute 
# using strftime() method

time = Time.new();
CurrentSecondOfMinute = time.strftime("%S");

print "Current second of minute is: ",CurrentSecondOfMinute;

Output:

Current second of minute is: 27

Explanation:

In the above program, we created the object of the Time class. Then we get the current second of the minute out of 60 using the strftime() method with "%S" as an argument and printed the result.
