In this program, we will get the current day of the year using the yday() method of Time class and print the result.

The source code to get the current day of the year out of 365 is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

# of year out of 365
date_time = Time.new();
curretDateTime = date_time.inspect();
dayOfYear = date_time.yday();
print "Current day of year(Out of 365) is: ",dayOfYear;
Output:
Current day of year(Out of 365) is: 34
Explanation:
In the above program, we created the object of Time class. Then we got the day of the year out of 365 using the yday() method and printed the result.
