In this program, we will create an integer variable and clear the specific bit of a given number using the bitwise operator.

The source code to clear specific bit using the bitwise operator is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

num=12
num = num & ~(1<<3)
print "Num: ",num
Output:
Num: 4
Explanation:
In the above program, we created an integer variable num initialized with 12. Then we clear the 3rd bit of created variable using bitwise operators and print the result.
