MS PowerPoint
MS PowerPoint is the presentation software of the Microsoft Office software suite. It is one of the most widely used office programs; PowerPoint has applications for personal use, academics, business, and professional environment. It is highly customizable; we can make a PowerPoint presentation to demonstrate things graphically and attractively.
PowerPoint has a relatively simple user interface which we can easily pick up to make the presentation attractive. It is a medium to bind multiple users at the same time.
Features
Following are the basic features of Microsoft PowerPoint -
- Design
- Insert objects
- Animation
- Linking Objects
1) Design
PowerPoint's design features adjust the slides' appearance and design. Normally, PowerPoint comes with a collection of themes predefined for us to choose from the design tab. This can vary from basic color changes to full format templates with font text. Themes may be applied through a single slide or to the whole presentation. Using the page setup scheme, we can optimize the presentation features; for instance, if we want to present something to multiple people, then we can make a presentation and can describe it using the projector. So, many users can watch my viewpoints through a larger screen.
Below mentioned image is depicting the PowerPoint design tab and its multiple themes.

To use this feature, simply select a slide and click on the Design tab.
2) Insert
Inset feature is associated with MS PowerPoint, using this tab; we can insert any object, image, slide, or other desired thing in our presentation. We can insert a slide with a different layout; to do this we must click the arrow button available at the bottom side. We can also insert a table in our presentation, it displays as a grid which can be used to fill the data in tabular form. For example – a list of students with their results.

3) Animation
The animation for PowerPoint is an animation of things. This function is most frequently used at the time of the slide show; an effect is added by the use of slide transfer. To make an on-click or automatic transition, we can edit the transition effect as well as choose this between slides.
The animation feature introduces movement and sounds to the objects within the slide. For instance, if we are creating a photo gallery as a slideshow, we can first choose which images enter the slide first and what will be the next, how they display or shown during the presentation of the slide.

4) Linking Objects
MS PowerPoint is compatible with all other Microsoft Office applications which allow us to export slides to Word documents, or to use Excel. In addition to picture and audio support, Microsoft Office is renowned for its linking capabilities. This feature of MS PowerPoint enables the user to link multiple objects in a single application. Generally, we call it object linking and embedding. Typically, we work with the most widely used application software like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint separately, and we may link data from Excel into a Word or to MS PowerPoint presentation.
Each program has features specific to the automated exchange of data between programmed software. These features facilitate users to time-save their time.
