UUID Class variant() method: Here, we are going to learn about the variant() method of UUID Class with its syntax and example.

UUID Class variant() method
- variant() method is available in java.util package.
- variant() method is used to get the variant number linked with this UUID.
- variant() method is a non-static method, it is accessible with the class object only and if we try to access the method with the class name then we will get an error.
- variant() method does not throw an exception at the time of getting a variant number.
Syntax:
public int variant();
Parameter(s):
- It does not accept any parameter.
Return value:
The return type of the method is int, it gets this UUID variant number.
