StreamTokenizer Class commentChar() method: Here, we are going to learn about the commentChar() method of StreamTokenizer Class with its syntax and example.

StreamTokenizer Class commentChar() method
- commentChar() method is available in java.io package.
- commentChar() method is used to tells that the given character starts a single line comment. Every character from the comment character to the end of the line is avoided by this StreamTokenizer.
- commentChar() method is a non-static method, it is accessible with the class object only and if we try to access the method with the class name then we will get an error.
- commentChar() method does not throw an exception at the time of checking comment character.
Syntax:
public void commentChar(int character);
Parameter(s):
- int character – represents the character.
Return value:
The return type of the method is void, it returns nothing.
