PriorityQueue Class peek() method
- peek() method is available in java.util package.
- peek() method is used to return the first element without removing an element from this PriorityQueue.
- peek() method is a non-static method, it is accessible with the class object only and if we try to access the method with the class name then we will get an error.
- peek() method does not throw an exception at the time of returning an element.
Syntax:
public Element peek();
Parameter(s):
- It does not accept any parameter.
Return value:
The return type of the method is Element, it returns the head element from this PriorityQueue when exists otherwise it returns null.
