Dictionary Class elements() method

  • elements() method is available in java.util package.
  • elements() method is used to get the elements of an Enumeration in this dictionary.
  • elements() method is a non-static method, it is accessible with the class object and if we try to access the method with the class name then we will get an error.
  • elements() method does not throw an exception at the time of returning Enumeration elements.

Syntax:

    public abstract Enumeration elements();

Parameter(s):

  • It does not accept any parameter.

Return value:

The return type of this method is Enumeration, it returns values of an Enumeration.

public class ElementsOfDictionary {
