DTP is also an abbreviation of Distributed Transaction Processing. Disadvantages of Distributed Transaction Processing

• Because of too many network resources may be used, data integrity begins to be complicated.
• In comparison to a centralized system, deadlock is strenuous to manage in DTP.
• The data transacted between sites over networks are unfortified to attack.
