Ctrl: Control Key

Ctrl is an abbreviation of "Control Key". It is a modifier key, found on keyboards of computers, laptops, Smartphone's and other similar equipped devices, which when pressed down in combination with some other key, carry's out a particular function such as Ctrl+C. By pressing control key alone, as same like a Shift key, it barely ever carry's out any function on the computing system.

The location of control key is placed on near the bottom left side of the majority of keyboards, which is based in a manner conforming to the international standard ISO/IEC 9995-2, while on a lot of keyboards; it is featured as an extra one at the bottom right.
