CES is an abbreviation of the "Consumers Electronics Show". It is a highly significant and prominent annual trade tech event well arranged in a systematic manner by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). This is the place where the world's most successful brands, businesses, and corporations in the field of electronics share their ideas and meet with new innovators, who are highly intelligent and perceptive in their field. The event is conducted every year in January by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) at Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The basis of the event is to introduce and represent new technologies and new technical products, which will be going to transform, impact, and reform through innovative ideas in the field of electronics.
CES provides the platform to businesses, corporations that comprise manufacturers, producers, developers, and dealers of consumer technology, innovators, designers, hardware, content, technological-based delivery systems, and many more.
CES History
- In the month of June 1967, the first time Consumer Electronics Show was conducted in New York City.
- Between 1978 to 1994, CES was conducted two times a year, in which Winter Consumer Electronics Show (WCES) carried out in January in Las Vegas and Summer Consumer Electronics Show (SCES) carried out in June in Chicago.
- In 1998, the organizers after looking at the continuous success of winter's event and losing popularity of summer's event decided to conduct the winter event once-a-year in Las Vegas.
