BSOD: Blue Screen of Death
BSOD is an abbreviation of the "Blue Screen of Death".
It is a blue screen displayed by a system as an error screen because of kernel error which signifies a system crash; occur due to the highest limit reached by a system at which it cannot for a long time function securely. Most commonly the operating system on which blue screen encountered is Microsoft windows. In case when a blue screen displays, the system stops functioning and required to be a reboot. A number of hexadecimal values may incorporate in the blue screen from a core dump of main memory, which can be used possibly to find out the cause behind the crash.
Blue Screen of Death Causes
- It is most commonly caused by issues that came up in the user's system hardware or problems that came up in its hardware driver software.
- It can be caused at times by problems with low-standard software functioning in the Windows kernel.
- It can be caused by issues also related to temperature, timing, resources, fraudulent registries, scam software's or viruses.
Dealing with Blue Screen of Death
- A user can troubleshoot blue-screen information by using the Action Center in Windows 7, 8, and 10.
- A user can use system restore to turn over its personal computer's software again to its former condition.
- A user can make an effort to examine the system's memory for errors and can test out its temperature to make sure that it's not in the condition of overheating.
- A user can upgrade by downloading the most up-to-date drivers for the system's hardware and install them properly.
- A user can scan his/her system for malware issues to make sure that malicious software is not the main cause of its system's crash.
- A user can undertake the system's booting into safe mode if each time during turning it on the blue-screening displays.
