BCA: Bachelor of Computer Applications
BCA is an abbreviation of Bachelor of Computer Applications. It is a three-year undergraduate program in Computer applications. It is considered equivalent to B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science.

Minimum Criteria to Get Admission in BCA
A person should have completed at the minimum 10+2 from any reputed university or after 10th, a person should have done a 2 or 3-year diploma. Besides this, some universities conduct an entrance test to get admission in this course.
MCA is recommended to pursue a post-graduation degree after this course for better career projection.
BCA Career Projection
- System engineer: It is to develop, execute, implement tests and evaluate circuits, software, etc.
- Programmer: It is to write, compile and run codes for the provided software.
- Web developer: It is to develop World Wide Web applications and to develop, enhance and maintain websites.
- Software developer: It is to develop software and to install, test, execute, implement and maintain the same.
- System Administrator: It is to set up, manage and maintain the system or server.
