AAI: Airport Authority of India

AAI is an abbreviation of the Airport Authority of India. It operates under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. It is in charge of creating, crafting, maintaining and enhancing the civil aviation infrastructure in India. A number of responsibilities come under the Airport Authority of India which comprises running 126 Airports in which 11 International Airports, 11 Customs Airports, 89 Domestic Airports and 26 civil enclaves at Military Airfields. • National Institute of Aviation Management and Research (NIAMAR) at Delhi.
• Fire Training Center (FTC) at Delhi and Kolkata.
• National Institute of Aviation Training and Management (NIATAM) at Gondia, Maharashtra.
• Hyderabad Training Centre at Hyderabad (HTC).
