Problem Solution:
Here, we will create a set of integer elements using the Set collection. Then we will remove all elements from the created set collection using the removeAll() function.
Program/Source Code:
The source code to remove all elements from a Set collection is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.
// Swift program to remove all elements
// from a Set collection
import Swift
var IntegerSet:Set<Int> = [10, 20]
IntegerSet.insert(30)
IntegerSet.insert(40)
IntegerSet.insert(50)
IntegerSet.insert(60)
print("Set elements:")
for num in IntegerSet {
print(num)
}
IntegerSet.removeAll()
print("Updated Set elements:")
for num in IntegerSet {
print(num)
}
Output:
Set elements:
30
40
60
20
10
50
Updated Set elements:
...Program finished with exit code 0
Press ENTER to exit console.
Explanation:
In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,
import Swift
Here, we created an IntegerSet set of integer elements. Then we removed all items from the set using the removeAll() function. After that, we printed the updated set on the console screen.
