SimpleTimeZone Class setStartYear() method
- setStartYear() method is available in java.util package.
- setStartYear() method is used to set the DST (Daylight Savings Time) starting year of this SimpleTimeZone.
- setStartYear() method is a non-static method, it is accessible with the class object only and if we try to access the method with the class name then we will get an error.
- setStartYear() method does not throw an exception at the time of setting start year.
Syntax:
public void setStartYear(int yy);
Parameter(s):
- int yy – represents the starting year of DST.
Return value:
The return type of the method is void, it returns nothing.
