As I always say that I am not an expert, I don't have a degree or a certificate in finance or anything else related to finance, accounting and saving.
I write what I do? I write what I faced and how I got success? I write only about my experiments and experiences?
In this post, I am going to write about how I am earning extra money with my regular job? I am working in an IT company since last few years.
I tried everything to earn extra, sometimes I failed, and sometimes I succeeded. Here, I will discuss only those ways who worked for me.
When you are thinking about working after eight to ten hours of a regular job, following barriers may arise in front of you
Time limitation: Suppose you are working 9 hours daily, your office timings are 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM; with these 9 hours you also spend 2 to 3 hours in travelling daily. It means from 08:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. you don't have time. Before 8 a.m. it is not possible to work extra.Tiredness: If you will spend 11 to 12 hours to work and travelling, definitely you will be very tired and unable to work more. So you have to take such kind of work that doesn't need much energy and must be based on your passion or interest.
With these two points, you also can have other work like studying, shopping for daily routine, time for family and sports. So your extra work should be your passion that you should enjoy.
As I discussed above you neither have much time nor much energy to work more, so choose your work to get extra income should be related your interest.
Call Centre Never think to do a job in call centres with your regular job
Such jobs may work for students or for those who have very good communication skills. By this way, they can earn good money.
What I started to get Extra Money? Since I am a Computer Graduate having a good knowledge of computer programming and other applications, playing with computers is my hobby, passion, interest, whatever you can say. It is my soul you can say.
I am from Delhi and one Idea that really worked for me to do work after my regular job is "HOME TUITION".
1) HOME TUITION I was frustrated by applying many ideas to get extra money, one day my friend who was working with me suggested taking Home Tuition.
I started and the results were good. Teaching is my hobby and source of knowledge.
In Delhi and other Metro Cities Home Tuition are very popular and high paying job and you will always be your own boss.
You can earn hourly basis from INR 500 to INR 1500 and more by taking Home Tuition.
Except earning of good amount you can
Fix your classes according to your time schedule.
Take more than one classes according to location - If the student is around your locality you can easily teach him/her anytime.
Take weekend classes that pay a very good amount.
Reschedule your class if you're tired.
How to search for students looking for Home Tutors? It's very simple, register online with those websites which provide students enquiry, there are many websites like urbanpro.com, etuitions.org, experttutor.in, topperlearning.com etc. For more, websites you can google.
How they provide enquiry? To get an enquiry of your nearest students, you will have to become a premium member. They will show enquiry on your dashboard, filter them and apply for a recent query which has less number of replies.
I don't know which online website is best, but in my case, urbanpro.com is working well.
Beware from offline brokers they can cheat you. You can also try for online classes.
2) Article Writing/ Freelance Work Another way that I use I earned through Article Writing and Freelancing work (like website designing, SEO Consulting, Website Promotion Consulting). You can also write for others and get good money, no matter you are from which background. If you have capability to write quality content you can start. 3) Blogging Another way!
By adopting blogging as your hobby you can earn good money, there is no eligibility to start your blog except quality content writing.
If you have the passion of providing something new and valuable to the audience you can start your own blog. There is no expertise required to start a blog, you can make it on Blogspot, Wordpress etc.
A blog with good content can earn you extra money, but it will take few months, years sometimes to return dollars as your hard work.
