Problem Solution:

In this program, we will check a specified file is exist or not, using File.file?() method and print the appropriate message.

The source code to check a specified file exists or not is given below. The given program is compiled and executed on Windows 10 Operating System successfully.

# Ruby program to check a specified 
# file exists or not.

result = File.file?("MyFile.txt");

if (result == true)
	print ("File exists.\n");
else
	print ("File does not exist.\n");
end

Output:

File exists.

Explanation:

In the above program, we checked "MyFile.txt" file is exists or not, using the File.file?() method and printed the appropriate message.
