Here, we are going to learn how to print the object of structure in Golang (Go Language)?

Printing the object of structure in Golang

Problem Solution:

In this program, we will create a structure Student, here we will initialize and print student objects on the console screen.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to print the object of the structure is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

Golang code to print the object of structure

// Golang program to print the object of structure

package main

import "fmt"

// Declaration of structure
type Student struct {
	Id   int
	Name string
	Fees int
}

func main() {
	stu1 := Student{Id: 101, Name: "Kapil", Fees: 10000}
	stu2 := Student{Id: 102, Name: "Amit", Fees: 12000}
	stu3 := Student{Id: 103, Name: "Arun", Fees: 15000}

	fmt.Printf("Student Infomation:")
	fmt.Println("\nStudent1: ", stu1)
	fmt.Println("\nStudent2: ", stu2)
	fmt.Println("\nStudent3: ", stu3)
}

Output:

Student Infomation:
Student1:  {101 Kapil 10000}

Student2:  {102 Amit 12000}

Student3:  {103 Arun 15000}

Explanation:

In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package that includes the files of package fmt then we can use a function related to the fmt package.

In this program, we created a structure Student, which is given below:

// Declaration of structure
type Student struct {
	Id int
	Name string
	Fees int
}

We can access the members of the structure object using "." Operator.

Here, we created the main() function. The main() function is the entry point for the program.

stu1 := Student{Id: 101, Name: "Kapil", Fees: 10000}
stu2 := Student{Id: 102, Name: "Amit" , Fees: 12000}
stu3 := Student{Id: 103, Name: "Arun" , Fees: 15000}

fmt.Printf("Student Infomation:")
fmt.Println("\nStudent1: ",stu1)
fmt.Println("\nStudent2: ",stu2)
fmt.Println("\nStudent3: ",stu3)

In the above code, we initialized the student objects. After that, we printed all student objects on the console screen.
